A Special Request

Posted by Jason & Sharon Epperly

Greetings from Ukraine.  Sharon here.  Just wanted to give a quick update and ask for prayer specifically on this matter.  As we had written yesterday, Vanya had taken our paperwork to Kiev.  Well, turns out something was not right on one of the forms done by the orphanage.  What does this mean?  Vanya is on his way back tonight (13 hour HOT train ride) he will be back in the morning and we go straight to the orphanage.  They will have to redo the paper and he will put it on the train and a friend will pick it up the next morning and take it to the SDA.  At this point we have a 50/50 chance of getting all the papers we need on Monday (our prayer is that this happens) since we are scheduled for court on Tuesday and this will not be possible if we don’t have those papers.  If we don’t get them Monday then it will be Wednesday with court on Thursday.   The sooner we have court the sooner we come home, we really want to come home!

Thanks so much for following, love reading your comments.  We love and miss our family and friends.  Can’t wait to hold our girls again!

Until next time, Grace and Peace!

Praying and believing God has His hands in all of the details. Also praying for your hearts knowing they are eagerly awaiting the result. Missing you tons!! Audrey had a 45 minute playdate with Emma yesterday. We know it is not the norm but thought it would lift both their spirits and it did. LOVE ANGIE

We are praying for this. We know that the Lord can come through with minutes to spare if need be.

Love you so much and we're praying that all goes according to plan. I got a good scripture to share: The Lord is close to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth.
~ Psalm 145:18, NLT

Hi guys,

I wanted to let you know that Chris and I are praying for you. I am specifically praying for the paperwork. Nett gave me an update a few days ago. I feel led to send you this Scripture: "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose" - Romans 8:28.

Your adoption journey has been such an inspiration to me. Psalm 127:3 - 5 says "Children are a heritage of the Lord...Happy is the man that has his quiver full of them..."

I pray that the Lord will give you peace and fill all of your hearts with joy. I cried when I read Morgan's comment about how much she misses you. She's become such a beautiful young lady. All the kids are adorable.

We'll continue to pray for you.

Love, Meg
